This article will show you, an Onboard user, how to reset your password.
Walk-Through
1. On your login screen, click the "Forgot Password" link right below where you normally type in your email and password.
- If you do not know how to get to the login screen, you can ask your company owner, HR manager, or office manager for the URL. You should also be able to find it via past emails from the Edoc Onboard platform (if you have already created an account or have been sent documents to sign).
2. You will then be prompted to enter your email -- use the email already added in the system. Then hit "Reset" you will receive an email that will allow you to reset your password, to that email.
- If your email has not been added to the system yet (or it was added with a typo), you will not be able to reset your password. If this might be the problem, the company admin should ensure that that your email was entered accurately, and you should ensure you are entering exactly the same email address. For example, periods (".") in an email address must be entered exactly in the place they appear (eg: "name.last@gmail.com").
3. Once you receive the password reset email (which should arrive in less than a minute), you will be able to follow a link to reset your password.
- If you do not receive the password reset email, check your SPAM folder. Then be sure to mark the email as "NOT SPAM" so you receive future emails from the platform.
4. Head back to your login page, and now you can login successfully with your new password.
