Summary
This article will show you how pre-populate the "New Employee" form in CPO (Cyber Pay Online aka Phoenix) with CyberHire (aka Onboard) data, making it easier to add a new employee to CPO when they already have data in CyberHire. This process is called "Importing Workers" into CPO.
You may want to do this if you frequently are adding new employees to CPO who have already filled out paperwork and information in CyberHire.
If you want to know how to set up this integration, take a look at the Activate CPO Integration article.
Walk-Through
Note: You'll get an email notifying you when an employee has completed their paperwork. This can be your signal to start the import process.
1. When logged into CyberPay Online (CPO), look on the left hand side and click "CyberHire."
2. You will now now see the worker's information (the one who had the CyberHire change request approved) listed under the New Employees to Import list.
3. Find the employee you want to import and click Import
Note: You may filter for the employee you are looking for by clicking the filter icon
Note: For the import to be successful, the employee must, in CyberHire, have a Social Security Number.
Note: Clicking the "remove button" will remove the employee from the list (after confirming in a warning alert), making it so that they cannot be imported into CPO. This is recommended if the worker already exists in CPO (for instance, if you already manually created them).
4. Now you will be taken to the New Employee page, which is pre-populated with data from CyberHire. You will still, most likely, need to fill out some information yourself, whether because the information was not previously put into CyberHire or because the back-end does not allow for certain auto-populations.
5. After reviewing the data, you can Save the new CyberHire employee by clicking the save button.
Note: The import may take several seconds. But if the import seems to be taking too long (or the page is not processing) take a look to see if there are any required fields not filled in. The page should indicate this at the very top in red text.
