Summary
This article will show you how to assign a document to a worker, so they can fill-out, sign, or approve it after they have already been invited to the system.
You may want to do this if you forgot to assign a worker a document when initially inviting them to the system or if a new document is now available that you want a worker to fill approve.
Documents are typically assigned to users when they are invited to the system. This option is for if you want to assign an already uploaded document (see here) to a worker who has already been added and filled out some paperwork. Or, this may be useful for you if you have new paperwork you want to send to a worker that's already filled out all their paperwork. Another scenario may be that you forgot to send them a document, and you now want to do so, no matter the stage they are at in their onboarding.

Walk-Through
To assign/send forms to an individual worker...
1. Navigate to the desired worker's page, and begin to edit.
2. Click on the "Forms & Documents" tab.
3. You will see "Assigned Documents" and "Assigned Forms." You can now select any forms/documents you wish to send out to the worker for review/signing by checking the checkbox next to the document.
The greyed-out check-boxes are next to forms/documents which this worker has already reviewed and signed/submitted.
4. After you hit "Update," the selected documents will be assigned to the worker and you will then get a green success bar message confirming this.
- The user will not receive any new email regarding these documents or forms, so you may want to notify the user manually, outside the platform, that they have new documents to fill out or approve. They can access these whenever they log in.
- It may take approximately one minute for the fillable documents to be generated for that worker.
